We take online security very seriously at Wego, which is why we’re happy to announce that we now support Smart Lock for Passwords on Wego.

Whether from your desktop or through the Wego Android travel app, you can now create your own unique password and save it on your Google account. Another password you don’t have to remember, or re-enter, ever again!

How do we do it?

Our friends at Google, rolled out Google Play Services 7.5 and announced the new Smart Lock for Passwords at this year’s Google I/O event.

Wego integrated the feature into the Wego Android travel app and Smartlock offers you the opportunity to save the password connected to your Google account of choice. Now you only need to click OK and never repeat the sign in again.

It’s the same deal when you use Wego from your desktop. Next time you go to www.wego.com on the Chrome browser, your login is automatically filled in for you. Make sure you login to your Chrome browser first, and you can book your flights and hotels through your personalised Wego account.

The added advantage of registering your own account on Wego and remaining logged in, means you can move between devices, either mobile or desktop, all in one account. We can then save you even more time by sending you price alerts for a trip you’re planning, and even help you decide dates to travel based on a super airfare or hotel deal that might pop up, and notify you by email.

Take advantage of the new Google Smart Lock feature, register your account with Wego and never sign in again. Focus instead of finding the best travel deals online and taking more holidays!
